Deacon Greg Pashley

Deacon Greg was born in California and eventually settled in Portland. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and worked for a short time as a small market radio disc jockey. He graduated from the University of Portland with a BA in Theology. He attended the Notre Dame Graduate School of Theology at Christendom College and earned an MA in Theological Studies with an emphasis in catechesis and evangelization. 

He was ordained a deacon for the Archdiocese of Portland in 2019 and has served at St. Agatha and St. Francis of Assisi parishes in southeast Portland. He is a member of the Board of Regents of John Paul the Great Catholic University.

Deacon Greg spent over 30 years in law enforcement and retired as a captain. He has been married since 2000 and has two children.
